The Palmetto Ball Sharks has joined the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes to raise money for JDRF, the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.  For those of you who may not be aware, one of our players deals with this on a daily basis and as an organization we are supporting him in this event and important cause.  The Walk raises funds for JDRF’s strategic plan to end T1D, a serious autoimmune disease, by delivering new treatments that progressively remove the daily burden, side effects, and complications of the disease.

The 5K walk will take place on November 9, 2014 at Finley Park at 1:00pm.  As we count down to the big day, we are asking you to support our commitment to raise money and/or join in the walk for this critically needed research.  Donating online is quick and easy using our personal fundraising page!
